Trial, Premium and billing

Four days, everything unlocked, free. It is attached to your account and to the device. When the device and the account each have a trial already, the one that started first counts for both, so signing in on a second device does not start it again, and reinstalling the app does not reset it.

DeviceAccount needed for the trial
Android phone and tablet, Android TV, Fire TV, Apple TV, LG and Samsung TVsNo. Without an account the trial is counted for the device
iPhone and iPadYes: Sign in to use your free trial
Windows and MacYes, and the email address must be confirmed: Verify your email address, with I verified my email and Send it again

Sports is part of the trial too, but it needs you to be signed in.

The app needs a connection now and then to check the trial and the subscription. Offline it keeps working for a while: a subscription until a little after its end date, Lifetime for weeks, the trial for days. Windows and the Mac check once a day; when they cannot, they say Could not verify your access with Try again.

  • On a phone, the app shows Your free trial has ended with the plans, and Restore at the top right.
  • On a television it shows Everything, unlocked. with Your free trial has ended. Subscribe to keep watching., the plans, Restore purchases or I’ve paid — check again, Sign in and Exit app. When the TV is not signed in, a QR code offers Already subscribed? Sign in with your phone.

A Kids profile never sees the plans or a purchase. It says Premium has ended on this device and Ask a parent to renew it, with Switch profile.

Lifetime$32.99 once, plus VAT or sales tax
Yearly$12.99 a year
Monthly$2.99 a month
Family Devices add-on$12.99 once, plus VAT or sales tax

These are the prices in US dollars for a new purchase. Subscription prices include tax. Lifetime and Family Devices bought through the website are charged plus VAT or sales tax where it applies, shown at checkout before you pay. In Google Play and the App Store the price you see already includes it.

Google Play and the App Store show the price in your own currency, so it is not always the dollar amount converted, and it can differ by country. In some countries the store keeps an earlier, lower local price. If you already subscribe, you keep the price you signed up at for as long as the subscription renews.

Prices can change. The price that counts is the one the store or the checkout shows you before you pay.

Every Premium plan is the whole app. There is no feature behind a higher tier. All of them cover 4 devices of any kind.

On a phone, Lifetime carries BEST VALUE and Yearly is picked to start with. The button says Unlock forever, Start 4-day free trial or Subscribe, and the plan you already have is marked CURRENT. On a television the button is Subscribe — price, or Not now.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time.

Every plan unlocks the same app, so the choice is only about how you want to pay:

  • Monthly if you want to try Premium for longer than the trial, or only need it for a while. Cancel whenever you like.
  • Yearly if you expect to keep using it. Twelve months cost about as much as four and a bit months of the monthly plan.
  • Lifetime if you want to pay once and never think about it again. It costs about as much as two and a half years of the yearly plan.

Add Family Devices only if the household watches on more than 4 devices, counting phones, tablets, TVs and computers together. Start with the free trial first: four days with everything unlocked shows whether the app works with your provider before you pay anything.

A one-off add-on that adds 4 more devices of any kind, so the household runs up to 8 devices while Premium is active. Its price is on the purchase screen.

It is permanent, and it does nothing without active Premium: Premium is required before buying Family devices. When Premium ends it waits: Owned permanently. Renew Premium to use 8 devices.

Where to get it: Get Family devices in Settings → Devices or under your plan on a phone, Settings → Subscription → Family devices on a television, or Subscription in the account panel.

On a phone your plan is the first thing in Settings, above the groups. Tap it for the details, or for the plans when you have none. It also says where you bought it, for example Bought on Google Play — manage or cancel in your Play account.

On a television and on a computer it is in the top bar: a gold crown when you have Premium or Lifetime, TRIAL · N DAYS LEFT during the trial, and TRIAL ENDED after it. Selecting it opens Settings → Subscription when you have a plan, and the plans when you do not.

It depends on where the app came from, because the stores require it:

AppPayment goes through
Android phone, tablet and Android TV, from Google PlayGoogle Play
iPhone, iPad and Apple TVThe App Store
Mac, from the Mac App StoreApple, in the app
Fire TV, Windows, and Android installed from a fileIn the browser: the app shows a QR code and an address, Scan with your phone to subscribe. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
LG and Samsung TVs from their storesNothing is sold on the TV: Your subscription follows your account. Buy on another device or in the account panel, then Refresh subscription
The account panel in your browserIn the browser, Premium and Family Devices

You need to be signed in to buy: Sign in first so your subscription works on every device.

The ways to pay are the ones the store or the browser checkout offers you; in the browser that is a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. There is no payment by bank transfer or BLIK straight to us. When a purchase in Google Play or the App Store will not go through, you can buy in the browser instead, on IPTV Deck’s page or in the account panel, signed in with the same IPTV Deck account: it unlocks every device of the account the same way.

A purchase follows the account, so paying on the phone unlocks the television, whatever store it came from. Android TV and Apple TV also offer Subscribe from your phone. A television whose store cannot take payments says The store on this TV can’t take payments and offers the phone instead; the television picks the purchase up within seconds. While a paywall is open, the app checks every few seconds by itself, and says Premium unlocked — enjoy when the payment arrives.

If you paid on another device, sign in with the same account and it unlocks itself: purchases follow the account, not the device.

Premium belongs to the IPTV Deck account that was signed in when you bought it, for example one made with Apple on the iPhone, while the TV uses another one made with Google. The simplest fix is to sign in to that account on every device: the paywall has Use a different account, and says Subscribed on another account? Switch to it and this device unlocks itself.

To move a store purchase to the account you use now instead:

  1. On a phone or tablet whose Google Play or Apple account made the purchase, sign in to IPTV Deck with the account you want to keep.
  2. Open the plans and choose Restore (on a television, Restore purchases).
  3. When it says Premium restored, the purchase is on this account. If it says This purchase belongs to another account, it stays where it is: sign in to that account, or write to us with the email of both accounts.

A purchase made in the browser cannot be moved this way. Write to us with both emails.

When the trial has ended on a phone that is not signed in, the subscription screen still has Sign in from another device: scan its QR code or type its code on a device that is already signed in, and this one joins the account and unlocks itself.

Where you bought it:

  • Apple: the App Store subscriptions screen of your Apple account.
  • Google Play: Subscriptions in Google Play.
  • The browser: the link in the receipt email, or Manage or cancel in Subscription in the account panel.

Cancelling leaves the app working until the period you paid for ends. Deleting your IPTV Deck account does not cancel a subscription.

On Android with Google Play, buying Yearly while Monthly runs, or the other way round, replaces the plan you have instead of adding a second subscription. The new plan starts at once, and Google Play counts the unused part of the old one toward it. You do not need to cancel the old plan yourself.

Lifetime is a one-off purchase, and the store does not swap a running subscription for it. Before you buy, the app says Buying this does not cancel your subscription — it keeps renewing until you cancel it in the store. After you buy, it says Premium unlocked forever — your old subscription is still renewing, cancel it in the store, in the plan banner on a phone and under Subscription on a television, and takes you to the store’s subscription screen to cancel the old one.

The store does not count what is left of the subscription toward Lifetime. Cancel it right after you buy, and it simply runs out at the end of the period you already paid for.

Two charges for IPTV Deck usually mean two subscriptions: one started in Google Play or the App Store and another in the browser, for example on a Fire TV. Both keep renewing until you cancel them, and each one is cancelled where it was bought, as under Cancelling:

  • Google Play: Subscriptions in Google Play, on the Google account that paid.
  • Apple: the subscriptions screen of the Apple account that paid.
  • The browser: the link in the receipt email, or Manage or cancel in Subscription in the account panel.

Keep the one you want and cancel the other; your Premium stays as long as one of them is active.

  • Purchase failed: nothing was charged. Try again, or restore if you think you paid.
  • Subscriptions are unavailable on this device right now.: the store of the device is not reachable. Try later, or pay on another device.
  • We could not confirm your subscription or We could not check your free trial: the app could not reach our service. Check the connection and choose Try again.
